Boston, MA, (June 8, 2018) – Thought Industries, one of the fastest growing online learning Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) companies, is proud to announce the addition of Samma Hafeez as Vice President of Customer Success.

A seasoned Customer Success leader, Hafeez will head the Customer Success efforts to accelerate the company’s rapid growth. Previously, Hafeez served as Senior Manager, Client Success and Operations at CloudCare. Prior to that role, she was Senior Manager Customer Success – Enterprise at BrightEdge and Senior Research Associate – Women’s Health at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Poverty Action Lab.

“From day one at Thought Industries we have put our customers first. With our growth, we wanted to bring on a senior leader with a strong track-record in SaaS Customer Success,” says Thought Industries CEO Barry Kelly. “Samma’s experience, creativity, and thought leadership is second-to-none. I know she will have an enormous impact on the future of our business.”

Hafeez brings more than a decade of experience to Thought Industries, leading and scaling industry-recognized teams in the delivery of technology and services around the world. Hafeez’s track record includes achieving 100% gross annual retention two years in a row and building a formalized customer onboarding and certification program to enhance product utilization and reduce churn. While at CareCloud, she designed and executed a champion reference program to improve sales velocity and drive marketing leads. At BrightEdge, Hafeez founded a corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative to foster employee engagement and social impact, and also owned several critical optimization initiatives focused on driving renewals and upsells along with increased customer satisfaction.

“Thought Industries offers unrivaled value to customers with a beautiful and intuitive cloud-based learning solution that drives immediate ROI and time-savings,” says Hafeez. “I am thrilled to join the company at its Boston headquarters at this stage in our growth to deliver a world-class experience to our clients.”
