Boston, MA, April 23, 2015 — Today Thought Industries, a digital learning platform, announces significant company momentum with the introduction of 18 new branded digital learning sites in Q1 2015. Meeting the growing demand for consumer learning online, Thought Industries is helping brands leverage digital learning to more effectively engage with their audiences and add new revenue streams.

Thought Industries was founded in late 2013 and launched its first client in early 2014. Since that time, the company has produced digital learning sites representing more than 50 different brands. Thousands of online courses, classes and videos have been launched across hundreds of consumer and professional topics including Home, Parenting, Health, Fitness, Nutrition, Hobbies, Crafts, Technology, and many more. In addition to the overall customer and site growth, Thought Industries reports its own rapid employee growth—more than tripling.

Thought Industries allows enterprises to quickly and easily create online learning experiences. A library of powerful, easy-to-use features enables businesses to get to market in just a few weeks. The platform supports the delivery of many digital learning products including guides, courses, programs, videos and webinars, as well as in-depth reporting of user behavior. With a white-label approach, brands can now own the educational relationship with their customers. Thought Industries’ platform enables organizations to deliver a number of business models including a la carte, subscription and ad-supported content.

“Digital learning is becoming a strategic initiative among C-Level Executives across the globe,” said Barry Kelly, CEO, Thought Industries. “Regardless of business focus or industry, savvy execs are realizing that digital learning is a powerful way to boost profits, increase customer satisfaction and lifetime value and enhance a brand’s validity. By creating customized learning experiences, we are helping our customers build an engaging educational relationship with their end-users, partners and distributors.”

“At Rodale, we’re always looking for ways to help our customers live healthier, happy lives, so leveraging Thought Industries’ digital learning platform was a natural way to support this mission,” said Beth Buehler, Rodale Inc. SVP of Digital Operations and Strategy. “The recent launch of Rodale U has enabled us to create engaging and dynamic online learning courses that optimize our trusted and authoritative brand content and package it in a new, learning-focused and goal-oriented online platform.”

In 2015, Thought Industries is also rolling out enhanced features including the integration of physical and digital product sales within the learning experiences, so individuals can purchase products while they learn. Additionally, there will be more store-front optimizations for selling, bundling and converting course sales as well as blended learning features such as registration systems for offline events and blended learning.
