Boston, MA, June 30, 2016 — Thought Industries, one of the fastest growing online learning companies and creator of the first Learning Business Platform™, today announced the continued expansion with TDWI, a division of 1105 Media. After signing a partnership earlier this year, TDWI has since launched its new online learning center in April of 2016 and will be bringing new courses online in the coming months from its industry-leading portfolio of business intelligence, analytics, data science, and data management of training, including several exam preparation courses for its CBIP (Certified Business Intelligence Professional) certification.

The integrated online learning experience is being powered by Thought Industries’ Learning Business Platform, a cloud-based solution which consolidates many of the requirements necessary to build, launch, and scale learning sites geared towards consumer and professional audiences. Features such as customized front-end site creation, drag and drop course authoring, built-in eCommerce, and financial reporting enable TDWI to work within one solution to produce the entirety of its consumer facing experience. TDWI is also leveraging multiple monetization capabilities the Thought Industries’ platform offers including both direct-to-consumer sales and discounted bulk seat licensing for large corporations.

“We are thrilled to be teaming up with Thought Industries as our online learning platform provider,” said Meighan Berberich, President of TDWI, “Thought Industries is helping us deliver an on-demand resource for individual learners around the world who want to become proficient in the latest business intelligence, analytics, and data management practices, but at their own pace and on their own schedule. Thought Industries enabled us to quickly extend our training portfolio online and bring to market a world-class, mobile-ready online learning experience featuring video, audio, quizzes, exams, learning certificates, and community.”

“It’s been impressive to see how fast TDWI was able to build and customize their learning business with our platform,” said Doug Murphy, President of Thought Industries, “They are the perfect example of an organization which has really engaging content, but wanted to offer an elevated experience for their customers. We’re excited to help them deliver that experience, and are looking forward to a long-term and successful partnership.”
