- About Us
SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Models) and xAPI (aka Tin Can or Experience API) are the two most common industry file standards for online learning courses.
When creating courses in a 3rd-Party content authoring tool, the output is typically in either a SCORM or xAPI format. Those files are then loaded into an LMS, where the course can be delivered to learners.
Within Thought Industries platform, administrators can upload preexisting SCORM or xAPI files and have them display within the learner view. In addition, courses and content created within the Native Authoring Tool of the Thought Industries platform can also be exported and imported into other systems.
If needing to manage SCORM or xAPI in a more secure and controlled way, learn more about SCORM Connect, a feature unique to the Thought Industries platform which enables businesses to maintain a secure connection and control versioning of their content.
